Associate Researcher University of Gothenburg Gothenburg, Sweden

  • Worked on the project “A Complete Dataset of Roll-Call Votes in the Swedish Parliament, 1925–1993” (Feb – Aug 2023).
  • Built pipelines turning 40,000 scanned PDF pages into a dataset of over 3 million cases, using Tesseract OCR and automated transformation into tabular formats.
  • Oversaw manual corrections and developed workflows for quality control and data cleaning.

2022 – 2023

  • Worked in the H-DATA module of the Demscore project, gathering historical country-level data from 1920 back as far as the French Revolution (1789).
  • Responsible for data management, recruiting external country experts, coding historical datasets, and coordinating website development.

  • Consultant (Aug 2019 – 2025): Data management and visualization for the Global State of Democracy (GSoD) Indices. Led workshops and tutorials on R and the GSoD Indices. Data analysis and management for multi-country surveys.
